About us The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) was founded in 1961 to "ease the burden and find a cure" for Parkinson's Disease. Headquartered in New York, the organization focuses its energies on research, patient support, education and raising public awareness of the disease. The Utah Chapter applies those APDA principles to the local population here in the inter-mountain west. The chapter helps run support groups in the state, holds educational seminars, and has fund-raising events.

How to help The Utah Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association is run entirely by volunteers. It is a non-profit organization. We are largely funded by contributions from the private sector. To be able to provide and develop programs that benefit individuals with Parkinson's Disease and their families, we need gifts of support. Our fundraising events, patron contributions, program fees and in-kind donations have contributed to our funding base over the years. We ask that you consider making a gift that will clearly impact the quality of life of individuals with Parkinson's Disease and their families. All donations are tax deductible and can be given in the form of cash, stock or in-kind contributions. Please help us in our efforts. Your support is a critical factor in the success of our work to help others. To make a donation contact the
